My name is David Land. I am a graduate of Salem High School, Missouri State University, and Drury University. I have my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I have worked for Greenfield Elementary for 14 years. I started my career as a sixth grade teacher specializing in science. I taught fifth and sixth grade science for three years. I then taught fifth and sixth grade mathematics for one year. I was then a sixth grade self-contained classroom teacher for three years. I, once again, taught one year of fifth and sixth grade mathematics. Now I am elementary librarian and have been for six years.
I have been married to my lovely wife, Sarah, since 2000. My wife and I have three children. We have a daughter named Ellee. Ellee enjoys reading, writing, and music. We have a son named Joseph. Joseph enjoys reading, art, and PE. Our youngest child is Christian. Christian enjoys PE and anything other than reading.
I love sports of all kinds. I am a very competitive person. I enjoy watching collegiate football and basketball and professional football, baseball, and basketball. My favorite college teams are the Bears and Lady Bears. My favorite professional teams are the Kansas City Chiefs, St. Louis Cardinals, and Oklahoma City Thunder. My favorite high school teams are the Wildcats of Greenfield High. Go Wildcats!
