Weeks 2 & 3: Stop Motion Animation
The first week we planned, wrote scripts, and drew story boards. The second week students put together their sets and took photos for their movies. One group never brought materials and never completed their movie. Movies were put together and sound effects added through Scratch. The links below are to each completed movie. Enjoy.

Weeks 4 & 5: Chess
We did chess for a couple of weeks. Most of the students had limited experience. All of them improved over the enrichment time.
Week 6: Marble Launch
We learned a few principles of physics (potential/kinetic energy, velocity and trajectory). We used these ideas to launch marbles through foam tubing. The goal was to make marble in targeted containers.
Week 7: Toothpick Towers
Students explored the building capabilities of toothpicks and mini Starburst candies. Various shapes were tried to maximize height, minimize materials used, and have durability.
